If you paid attention to the
sentences from your text you would notice a new tense: Past Perfect Tense.
It express an action
completed before another action or moment in the past .
This form consists of HAD
followed by the past participle of the main verb.
EX: 1) He had read the novel before he saw the film
2)Had you written your homework before your parents come home?
3)She didn't left the house until the rain had stopped.
Translate into English using
Past Perfect :
1)Nu mi-am putut cumpara dictionarul
caci imi cheltuisem banii.
2)Cand am ajuns acasa fratele
meu plecase deja la scoala.
3)Cand mama a intrat in
camera Veronicai , ea tocmai isi termina-se temele.
